Fashion is a large part of being a celebrity. For better or worse, with fame the eyes of the world notice every outfit that a star wears. While some young people in their twenties seem to have an innate sense of style, others do not. If you are a fan of the E Channel show “Fashion Police” you get a weekly dose of the best and the worst that is happening in Hollywood and around the world when it comes to fashion.
Mila Kunis
At the age of 29, Mila Kunis has shown that she is not only a talented actress but the sexiest woman in the world. Her style and fashion sense has evolved over the years since she starred in the “That’s 70’s Show”. The dress that she chose for the 2011 Academy Awards show was among the best of that year. It was a lilac long dress by Elie Saab. At the premier of her movie “Oz-The Great and Powerful” she wore an Alexander McQueen dress in gray and black. It has multiple tiers on the long skirt. It was a conservative choice that showed off her more mature style.
Taylor Swift
The young songstress has a very definite sense of what looks good on her. The one complaint that she gets for many of her outfits is the lack of color. She is just too neutral but the style and fit are usually impeccable. In her own words ''I definitely think about a million people when I get dressed in the morning''. At the CMA music festival press conference in Nashville on June 6, 2013 she wore a simple short floral and lace dress from Dolce and Gabbana. It looked young and fresh and much different from some of her more sexy performance outfits.
Earlier this year at the ACM awards she also wore Dolce and Gabbana and in that case it was a stunning gold dress that fit her like a glove. At only 23, Taylor has another 7 years to perfect her style and she is well on the way to being there.
Jennifer Lawrence
The beautiful young star of “Silver Linings Playbook” got everyone’s attention when she not only won the academy award for best actress but tripped on the train of her gorgeous Dior haute couture gown as she climbed up to the stage to accept her award. The 22 year old is a known fashionista and has been hired to be the face of Miss Dior. While not all her choices win general approval she has a great sense of fashion and knows how to wear clothing well.
Selena Gomez
At only 20 years old, Selena has shown an amazing sense of fashion. She has grown up in front of the world and in the last year or so has come into her own and developed a sexier more mature fashion style. She looked stunning at the ESPY awards in July wearing a short red lace beaded dress from Dolce and Gabbana. The original dress was shown on the runway as part of the Fall 2013 collection. Selena’s version had been given what is called the slut cut and looked great on her.
Among the other 20 something celebrities who have shown great fashion sense are Adele, Miley Cyrus, Amanda Seyfried, Emma Watson, Kristen Stewart, The Olsen twins, Blake Lively, Vanessa Hudgens, Scarlett Johansson and Rihanna. This is just the tip of the iceberg and when it comes to female celebrities in their 30s, 40s and beyond, the styles are even more amazing.
